UPP was assigned as the plumbing contractor for my Sears Home Warranty service request. The request was to install a new bathroom faucet in replacement of a broken faucet (handle). I even bought the new faucets to be replaced. Tim was the plumber that came to the house, and he was a nice guy, old school minded and a little rough around the edges (talked to himself while working, cursing to himself while working, when I told him that I don't hover around contractors in my house when they are working, he responded "Good, because I don't like people watching me work") but I was tolerable in his customer service. Tim had an issue installing the new faucets I purchased because he said that the faucet style would not fit. I was under the impression that standard 3-hole faucets fit any 3-hole sinks, but Tim said otherwise so I had to reschedule UPP to come out and install new faucets once I bought the "correct faucets". Disappointed but I took back the 3-hole faucets to the store to exchange them for other faucets. Rescheduled an appointment for the week later. The UPP manager that I talked to multiple times when scheduling and explaining what had happened was nice, flexible with my Sears Home warranty service, understanding and professional.

UPP sent Tim back out to (with a junior plumber) install the second new faucets I purchased, and he had another issue installing those. After further troubleshooting, Tim found out that one of the bathroom sinks had a crack in the drain hole which is why he could not install the faucet completely. Tim even then admitted that the first set of 3-hole faucets that I purchased would've fit if it wasn't for the crack in the drain hole. Tim even admitted that he had to get up to speed on the new faucets which I agree because putting customers through going back and forth to the store to return and re-purchased items that are unnecessary was a waste of my time. So, I was right that faucets are standard to all sinks, and I could've kept the first set of faucets I purchased. All of this was a waste of time unfortunately because I had to now purchase a new bathroom vanity with different faucets that matched the vanity plumbing holes.
