I went to get my car body repaired and also asked them to check if it was not starting properly. After checking, they said it was not a problem with the parts, and they took the time to disassemble and clean it. At no extra charge. And I no longer had to try to start it several times a day. I received very good service. They are professional and honest businessmen.

I would have to say that this establishment is one of few that I would trust to take my car into get fixed and serviced. I had gotten into a hit-and-run accident recently and needed to have quite a few work done to my car and New Star was more than attentive in getting my car fully repaired and almost in mint condition. I would have to say that they did a very impressive job. I also needed to get an oil change and get new tires and could have easily gone to a shop closer to home, but decided to trek out 30 mins away to get it done here. The staff is all fully knowledgeable and they have been in business for as long as they have in Duluth and I can say this business is as a reputable one. I would have to say that I will be continuing my business and recommending friends and family for all things auto & body repair related!

Today was my first time visiting. I came from the Google Reviews, but some made me skeptical. However, out of all the auto repairs I visited, this was by far the best! The prices were reasonable and the customer service was also very top notch. New Star just earned a new loyal customer!

I don't write reviews a lot, but doing one for this shop is not a waste of my time.
I'm not good at writing essay, long story short, My car has been there since 2023 March, it's finally fixed but waiting for the final invoice paperwork from the insurance company. It's been nine months, could be done next month or I am expecting more time.
All the stresses I've been through during these nine months were unnecessary. I'd say if I come back again, I will just leave everything to Joe and stop worrying about it. Built the trust with this shop the first time I'm working with them.
P.S - This shop was recommended by my car accidents lawyer Jay. If you were too, trust both of them.
I can only see this business is getting busier and building more loyal customers as long as Joe runs it. It makes me feel they are going beyond or surpass what a regular auto shop suppose to do.
If in the future, you are experiencing the same like my case, leave it the them and stop worrying about it. I'm not a insider, take my comments seriously.

Driving home on a Sunday night, I hit a pothole in Dekalb. I quickly figured out it messed up the brakes on front righthand side of my car. After calling around and trying mobile mechanics, no one could fit me in. I gave New Star a call, and after talking to the manager, he told me to bring it over. Once I arrived, they inspected the car and gave me a fair quote, which I agreed to. Not more than two hours later, they called to let me know the car was ready. To my surprise, the final bill was less than the quoted amount. The team there is Friendly and professional, and I will definitely be back the next time I need service.
