I needed an adjustment made to the strap my work bag, it was too long, and the shoulder pads slipped around. I asked them to shorten the strap, and fix the shoulder pads in place.

It was neat to watch how Duk and OJ work as a team. They went back and forth a few times to make sure they were doing what I was asking, they put tape on the straps and drew on the tape so they wouldn't mark the material, and OJ then made the adjustments. He cut the strap and added two rivets to keep it in place, and then stitched the shoulder pads, there not going anywhere.

I was in and out with my custom job in 20 minutes, and it's good work.

Stopped by to replace rubber soles on my wife's half-boots. Got a quote of $119!!! These people are nuts! Simple glue and trim job! I can't believe they are still on business. Will NEVER be back.

I don't think I will every go back to this place. I brought my boots in to have the rubber on the bottom replaced. They told me it would be $50 to resole the boots. I just picked up my boots to find that they only replaced the heel with different color rubber and polished/stained half of the boot. You can see this in the pictures. The heel is gray and the other section is black. And if you look, they polished the area right above the new heel but stopped where the heel stopped. It looks unfinished.

There is a definite language gap. But when i asked about the different color heel and polish She started arguing with me saying they can't replace the other rubber section because they would have to order it. They had my boots for two weeks and didn't order it. I am very disappointed. Now I have to pay someone again to fix my boots.

I have been using Newtown Shoe Repair for many years and could not be anymore pleased. I have brought in ALL types of high end shoes to be resoled, heel caps replaced, etc and the quality of their repairs has always beyond met my expectations. The turnaround time is usually pretty quick too. The owners are absolutely lovely people and a pleasure to deal with. They are extremely honest and upfront about how they can repair your shoes and with the cost. You definitely pay for high quality work. Whatever type of shoe repair you need, you need to check them out for sure!

Took my riding boots in to be repaired after I wore holes through the soles. Can say they look genuinely better than new. Staff were lovely and friendly and I'll be taking any other shoes that need fixing to them.

Dropped my fiance's shoes off to be shined on a Tuesday.
Went to pick them up at 10am Saturday morning of the wedding day.
Shoes had not been done and I was told they "could be" ready by 2 pm,
which is when we were supposed to be getting ready for the wedding.
Was a customer for many years, am no longer.

I keep shoes a long time some have been in my closet over 30 years. With that being said, I have bringing my shoes and boots for repairs at this establishment for years. The owners have always told me if repairs are not possible or other options if possilbe.
