Slavka, with "At Home With Care" is a joy to work with! As a senior care coordinator for a man who was being discharged from the hospital and quickly needed 24/7 care in place, I was challenged to find 5 caregivers immediately. We did not want to use a staffing agency due to high costs and the inability to be selective of the caregivers. Direct hires can be challenging too, where do you find experienced, trustworthy, reliable people? "At Home With Care!" I am so thankful that I was referred to "At Home With Care". Slavka quickly arranged interviews with several very dedicated, caring individuals who were all able to handle the complexity of care this gentleman needs. We were able to select a team of wonderful caregivers in a very short time. I highly recommend Slavka, she is experienced, diligent, listened to your needs, works to find the right match and follows up to make sure things are going smoothly. Totally worth the cost of her service!

My parents and I would have been absolutely lost without At Home With Care – and Slavka in particular. Slavka has been such a blessing to us. She helped us navigate the multiple challenges associated with the aging and caregiver process. My parents lived in Manhattan Beach, while I lived in Westwood. Watching your parents age is hard enough, but when you aren’t around the corner to help, it takes a further emotional toll on everyone. But Slavka simplified the process with her deep knowledge and years of experience. She assessed precisely what my parents’ healthcare needs were given their advanced age and medical challenges, and then she coordinated the management of those needs. Caregiver coordination can be a full-time job, and if you do not have the luxury of living next door to your loved ones, it is that much more challenging. At Home With Care has been patient and helpful in finding caregivers for my parents. My mother is up all night and needs primary caregiving between midnight and 10am when she is most active. Slavka has been wonderful in finding just the right person to deal with her during these times. At Home With Care also provides guidance for interviewing potential caregivers and having them in your home which is invaluable as a first time client dealing with the issues of elder care. Loved dealing with her and highly recommend.

Even though my mom needed 24/7 live in care she was still very picky and demanding about who she would allow to take care of her. We thought we would have a very difficult time finding the right person for her and I'm sure we would have if we had not been recommended to Slavka. We described in detail what my mom wanted and needed as well as the challenges we thought she would have in finding the right person. Literally the first person she sent us was a perfect fit and stayed caring for my mom until her passing. My sister and I are extremely grateful to her and to the wonderful caregiver she found for us.

I'm a senior care consultant and geriatric care manager, and I highly recommend Slavka of At Home with Care. She provides an important alternative to the traditional caregiving agency, which isn't always the best fit for families. With over a decade of experience of hiring and managing caregivers (she used to own an agency), Slavka knows better than anyone the pros and cons of going through an agency versus hiring directly. Slavka provides excellent and caring service, empowering families to hire qualified caregivers. She guides families through the confusing legal requirements as well as other matters that they wouldn't otherwise know to consider.
