Fon Jon Pet Care Center

I'm overjoyed to express my profound gratitude for the exceptional experiences I've had with Fon Jon Pet Care, particularly after entrusting them with my cherished dog, Philippa or Pippa, for the third time. From the instant I stepped into their establishment, I was deeply moved by the heartfelt greeting and sincere concern exhibited by Anthony, the manager, and his remarkable team. Fon Jon Pet Care distinguishes itself with a standard of service that is truly exceptional. Pippa always returns home radiating joy and in excellent health, a clear testament to the unwavering commitment and expertise of the entire staff. The facilities are pristine, clearly demonstrating their high standards for cleanliness and comfort. From the bottom of my heart, I recommend Fon Jon Pet Care to all pet owners seeking a secure and nurturing environment for their furry companions. My deepest thanks for consistently surpassing my expectations and for providing Pippa with such exceptional care. I eagerly anticipate our ongoing relationship with Fon Jon Pet Care for all of Pippa's future boarding needs.

We absolutely love this doggy daycare! We have the monthly pass for our dog, Hank, and it is so worth it. They make the process so easy during drop off/pick up, and Hank is always excited when we pull into the parking lot and sees anyone on the amazing staff. We also board Hank here and take advantage of their grooming services. Highly, highly recommend this wonderful pet care center.

I have been taking my fur babies to Fon Jon for over 17 years and there is no one else I trust with them. The staff is so wonderful and not only really care/love/understand the pups but also me and my life. I have recommended Fon Jon to many friends, who also love it there. I work from home and need to travel sometimes, so my pups go to daycare to play every day and are boarded there when I need to be out of town. Thank you Fon Jon for everything you do!

Fon Jon's Pet Care and K9 Training is an absolute dream! Being a new dog mom was initially overwhelming, but discovering Fon Jon's changed everything. Dropping off Frank is completely stress-free (even for a helicopter mom like me lol) The team at Fon Jon has palpable love and genuine care for every dog that walks through their doors. It's clear that the entire team not only loves their job but also has a deep affection for the dogs in their care. Everyone immediately knew Frank by name and even helped me get gum out from between his toes!! I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have found such a dedicated and caring place for Frank. Leaving him in their care feels like I'm leaving him with family (who happen to be dog experts!) Frank absolutely adores going to Fon Jon's. Every time I pick him up, he's happily tired out from all the fun and activity. It's truly heartwarming to see how much he enjoys his time there. Fon Jon's is more than just a pet care facility--it's a sanctuary where dogs are loved, cared for, and thoroughly enjoy themselves. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

This review is long overdue, but I just want to thank everyone at Fon Jon for so many years of making my pup’s day!! We’ve been coming for a few years now and I have nothing but good things to say about how much the staff loves what they do. My dog loves this place more than home sometimes it feels like. My #1 recommendation for anyone who needs daycare or boarding in San Diego!

Highly recommend this place for training your dogs! Manuel & Fon are great at what they do & truly understand dogs! Especially high drive dogs that need a little extra challenge to be the "bestest dog" in our family pack! Our young pup get so excited to do training when we get the parking lot she can't wait to get out of the car and start!

I am a bomb dog handler and have now boarded 2 of my certified Explosives Detection K9s here. Because the dogs are my work partners, it's especially hard to trust their care to anyone, however I have had great experiences here. The manager Anthony is fantastic and in an age where customer service seems almond non-existent, he is a great example of how to run a business. I am so grateful to have found Fon Jon when I'm visiting the area and need a safe place for my dogs overnight. When I pick up my dogs, they seem relaxed and happy.
