As an owner new clientele is always nice in a positive way maybe a" Were sorry for the inconvenience try again tomorrow " would have been fine because reviews can always be changed to a 5 star. But clearly rude ownership and an ego to boot.

My laptop had been overheating to the point of shutting off for a couple weeks and I attempted to fix it myself. I ran diagnostics on it and it seemed one of the fans was registering as inactive. I took it to Rekonekt, and the man working there was uninterested in looking at the diagnostics I had previously done and had photos of I offered to show him. He was uninterested in my photos and assured me he does his own diagnostics and will find out what's wrong. He then told me I would get my laptop back in 3 to 4 days because he had 2 other laptops ahead of me. He requested $20 for diagnostic but it had to be cash only. I thought that was rather odd, but the reviews on here seemed very good so I disregarded my initial hesitation and paid it.

Fast forward 3 days, I had not heard from him and realized he did not get my laptop password, which also demonstrated he hadn't even started on it. I gave it to him and he told me he would take a look at it that day, but I didn't hear from him for the rest of the day. I called the next day since I still had not heard from him and he told me he "could not find anything wrong with it" and that "sometimes gaming laptops run a little hot." I reminded him that it's not normal for a gaming laptop to shut off when it's idle. He told me the only thing he could do is clean the fans (which I already did) and replace the thermal paste and quoted me a price of $160 or somewhere around there. I agreed initially, but I was preparing to leave town and didn't trust this business' reliability.

I called back 40 minutes later to cancel and request I come pick up my computer and he told me to come get it the next day in the morning. I asked him if I could get it the same day. He said he still needed to reassemble and close up my laptop and couldn't get to it because he was backlogged. I said that I could come in several hours later in the evening if he needed time and still refused. I told him it was going to be very inconvenient for me to come pick it up the next day since I was leaving the area that night and I reminded him that he initially assured me that I would get my computer back within 3 to 4 days. He then blamed me for the inconvenience saying "If you would have told me you wanted it back when you called me earlier, I could have done it." I realized I was dealing with a business with poor business practices at that point and just agreed to it and decided I would go out of my way to write a review to warn people once I got my laptop repaired. I got my computer back the next day, thank God, and noticed handwritten signs on the front counter stating "no refunds" in quite a few places. I am not surprised why he needed these.

I took my laptop to a different computer repair place that same day. The technician there diagnosed it, found it was indeed loose wiring in a fan that wasn't working, repaired it, and was returned to me in only an hour for $45. I don't tend to write bad reviews unless it's really warranted. So I advise everyone, especially those who are not tech savvy, to stay away from this business.

I thought my phone was a goner. The screen smashed to bits during a mosh pit I participated in at a Taylor Swift concert. But it was no match for Chris. He put it in rice and instantly restored it to it's former glory. He even complimented the kick scooter I came in on. There's a warm inviting glow to him, like a mall Santa. Definitely not threatening. If your phone isn't broken, I suggest breaking it immediately and coming here!!!! Also, Mark Kaye is my spirit animal.
