Just touched down from Chicago and needed a quick bite. This place came recommended by the locals. The service was quick and friendly. Ample of menu options. I selected the Turkey wings with sweet potatoes, greens, and cornbread with a slice of lemon cake for dessert. I can say the portions are great comparable to the pricing. The preparation was fast. The taste.... everything could use more seasonings. The turkey wings were more fatty than meaty and need more seasonings to that gravy. The greens could use more meat flavor and some Cajun seasonings. The cake slice was iced to perfection but super dry; was old or over mixed? Overall wasn't a bad visit. I will consider visiting again to try the seafood.

S&S is definitely one of my go-to's for a quick carry out meal to feed the family. The menu is simple, well priced and the wait typically isn't very long. My personal faves are the turkey wings and the friend whiting. We'll done guys

I ordered the 2 piece catfish dinner with rice and gravy and string beans. It was very delicious. The fish was well seasoned, crispy, fresh, and made to order. The gravy turned that plain rice into a southern delight! Nothing too special about the green beans, but they had a nice flavor and complimented the fish. I was greeted warmly with a genuine smile. My only criticism is that they should serve the cornbread warm instead of cold. I paid $17 dollars and it was worth it. I'll be back as a customer.

Update: I went back to try this place for a second time, and the gravy wasn't consistent with the rice. It had a slightly watery taste.

Delicious food. I always opt for vegetarian platter. I love their mac n cheese and the collard greens! Mmm….

Had a feel for fish so stopped in to check this place out.

The Restaurant looked tidy and the line was short which was good for me. The line got heavy after my wait so it seems very popular. The staff was friendly and attentive.

I ordered three piece trout and mac & cheese for a side. The trout was freshly fried crispy and tasty. I would definitely get that again!

The mac & cheese on the other hand had to be one of the least appealing mac & cheese I’ve ever had. Yellow does NOT equal cheese or taste. UGH...They could definitely do better.

Overall I would try it again. Just to try the other dishes but NOT the Mac!!

A wonderful to-go restaurant that serves not only seafood but also homemade comfort food. Their comfort food menu consists of such items as Turkey wings, Collard Greens, Mac& cheese. Great flavor and wholesome quality for a good price!

Excellent seafood! It's fresh and not over fried. It's a carryout so there is no seating. The collard greens are good too. It was clean and the staff were friendly.

My family and I have eaten here several times and we've always been satisfied with the food. However, today I ordered the baked chicken and had a strand of hair in my mouth. I would've loved to say it came from me, but I have a short cut (waves). I did have someone pick up my order and they never opened it. So that hair has to come from them!!! I called and they said for me to bring my food back and I'd get a refund. I was disappointed when the person I spoke with tried to discredit my experience!!!! After all this I'm really unsure if I'd even return again. The thing that has me unsure is that I love they're fried fish. I just don't like how the person I spoke with discredit my experience and that's why I won't return.
